How to start a civil claim

We know how useful our extended guides are to use with your service users and we of course want you to continue to use them. You are welcome to download the guides any number of times for your clients.

Please don't pass on the link to this page to anyone who isn't an adviser, volunteer or support worker as it will have implications for the continued viability of our service. Users who cannot afford the guides can request a free copy through the Advicenow website.

The standard guide continues to be available for free on Advicenow.

Why are we charging at all?

We are charging for the extended version of this guide and several others to help fund our charity and to make sure that our guides that we are able to update them and keep them available. The vast majority of our guides will always remain free of charge. We also offer printed guides as we know some of our users want them. These are a bit expensive as each guide is individually printed as and when somebody requests one. We make a small profit on these too, which also supports our service.
