Legal Support for Litigants in Person (LSLIP)
The Legal Support for Litigants in Person grant (LSLIP) aimed to deliver on government commitments in Legal Support: the Way AheadLink opens in a new window. The programme aimed to enhance services that support the earliest possible interventions for litigants in person, reducing the risk of their problems escalating.
The grant supported Law for Life to:
- Expand Advicenow, to include new and updated guides for litigants in person, and to reach more people and organisations, particularly outside of London.
- Build the evidence base of what works in the realm of legal support interventions, such as Advicenow guides and tools, and establish why or how they are working effectively.
Evaluation reports produced as part of the LSLIP project:
- Evaluation of the Affordable Advice Service pilot
- Evaluation of housing rights courses for trusted intermediaries
This project ran from July 2020 to September 2022.
