If you get turned down for PIP or do not get the award you thought you were entitled to, please ask for a mandatory reconsideration.  The DWP make the wrong decision all the time. We want more people to get the help they are entitled to  - that is why we made a PIP mandatory reconsideration tool that sets out your case for you.

Good advice about the form. I wouldn't normally choose to watch a video about this type of thing. I am re-applying on behalf of my son as I also go through the appeal process. I need all the advice I can get, and I found it a lot more helpful than I expected. I agree the background music could be a little distracting. There are some very useful tips, it's about the right pace and not at all confusing.
